County Services During COVID-19
Stearns County buildings are closed to the general public at this time. We are beginning to open in a limited capacity by appointment only for some county services such as license renewals, passports, and absentee voting.

Stearns County is the 7th most populous county in the state, the 14th largest by area. Because of its central location in the state, and the St. Cloud metropolitan area’s role as a regional center, the county’s population and economy will continue to grow at a healthy pace.
